Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to lead pick and pack operations in our print fulfillment department. This first shift position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate handling, packaging, and shipment of printed materials—including marketing collateral, signage, packaging, and promotional products. In addition to hands-on responsibilities, this role involves supervising and coordinating temporary personnel during peak periods to ensure consistent workflow and quality standards.

This first shift position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate handling, packaging, and shipment of printed materials—including marketing collateral, signage, packaging, and promotional products. In addition to hands-on responsibilities, this role involves supervising and coordinating temporary personnel during peak periods to ensure consistent workflow and quality standards.
- Accurately pick printed materials and custom orders based on job tickets or packing slips
- Pack items securely to preserve quality during transit, following specific client requirements
- Apply labels, inserts, and packaging materials per order specifications
- Inspect materials for print accuracy, defects, or damage prior to packing
- Use fulfillment software to track inventory and process orders
- Coordinate day-to-day assignments and tasks for temporary warehouse staff
- Train, direct, and oversee temps to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols
- Stage packed orders for timely shipment and coordinate with shipping carriers
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking printed materials from production
- Perform cycle counts and support ongoing inventory accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of warehouse or fulfillment experience, preferably in a print or production environment
- Previous experience managing or directing temporary or seasonal staff is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with versioned or customized print materials
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for most of the shift
- Experience with inventory systems, scanners, and common shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, USPS)
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- First shift position in a print fulfillment warehouse
- Fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
- Regular interaction with printed paper goods, packaging materials, and shipping supplies
- Collaborative team environment with seasonal volume fluctuations
